FAYE A. BARKER was admitted to the Guyana Bar in October 2007. Ms. Barker commenced her legal career as a State Counsel attached to the Attorney General’s Chambers and thereafter served as an Associate Attorney-at-Law with the Law Firm of Hughes, Fields & Stoby, for approximately three and half years. Since the year 2011 Ms. Barker ventured into private practice before joining forces with the other founding partners in establishing this firm.

Ms. Barker specializes in civil litigation and advice and more specifically family law, estate planning, land law, contract law and corporate and commercial law. Ms. Barker is also a Registered Patent and Trademark Agent and was previously an Executive Member of the Guyana Bar Association and the Guyana Association of Women Lawyers. She is also a Member of the Legal Practitioners’ Committee since December, 2017.

Ms. Barker is the holder of a Post Graduate Certificate, a Post Graduate Diploma specializing in Family Law and a Masters in Law specializing in Human Rights Law from the University of London.
